First Hotel Aalborg is part of a large chain of hotels, initially from Norway, under the Flying Elephant flag. Recently First hotels have joined forces with the Belvar group consisting of a large number of Moxy Hotels and Marriott Hotels across Europe. Together, they form the Maribel Hotel Management Group.
Whilst sharing the visual identity of other First Hotels, the individual establishments do have some freedom to develop their own signage and marketing materials, which are often influenced by the building, geographical area or history of a specific hotel.
In the case of First Hotel Aalborg, we have assisted them in developing signage and menus specific to the local hotel. We made sure to match the visual elements to the ones present in the general visual identity of the chain.
Additionally, we have been assisting First Hotels with photo shootings at various events. One example is the #MFL race scheduled for the summer of 2020, that promotes diversity, integrity, harmony and solidarity. These particular photos are used as promotional material for the event.
